Rochester Fire Department trains for hazardous material railroad spills

May 25, 2015 |KTTC| ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) — Oil train derailments in past years have everyone talking, and practicing for the worst. On Friday, the Rochester Fire Department took their test for how to handle hazardous material incidents on railroads.

For the past three days, the Rochester Fire Department has been working with Canadian Pacific Railroad and the Chlorine Institute to learn how to handle hazardous material incidents on railroads.
